Thank you gentlemen for your replies. The watch may be Pre Bond, it's probably a 34 MM case, looks "small" by today's standards. When the back was off I looked at the movement with a loupe, I don't remember a brass cover. I am positive though that there was no Omega logo anywhere visable. I bought it for a song with a non working movement, so regardless of the maker of the movement, no biggie!!! Thanks again.
Without your having posted a picture, my reply was made having had to assume what movement is in the watch. Here are two pictures, one of the Omega 1420, and the other of the Eta 955.411. These are interchangeable. Try posting a picture of the mechanism so we can eliminate all this guesswork.
Okay so if it's a pre-Bond at 34 mm, it's probably something like this:
Ref. 28805000, and will have a Cal. 1424. No brass movement cover, but the Omega symbol and caliber will be on the circuit:

Yep, that's it. The movement though isn't the Omega marked one, must be the ETA. Thanks for your assistance!!
