I would put the old bezel back on and put on ebay with no reserve auction. I think it will be the best way. And that other bezel worth some money too.

Firstly I don’t think the DoN bezel is correct for that watch. The serial, straight writing case back, DNN bezel and 1175 bracelet are all contemporary and correct. The DoN is too early for the rest of the parts.

Regarding price, check out speedmaster101 for the price guide. As a ball park I’d say it’s a £4000 GBP watch, with the bracelet.

Thanks for welcoming me, I was concerned that I might have done something wrong or underhanded and if I did so, I am sorry.
Does that have something to do with why you mentioned editing the posting?

I will spend some more time studying Speedmaster 101, thank you very much for the pricing estimate.

If it didn’t sell on EBay, you were asking too much.
Thank you, I don't remember what I priced it at, or how long it was on offer.

Just to add, my estimate is based on private sale, unserviced. It’s hard to judge condition from a couple of photos but if th me case is sharp and dial flawless it will be worth a bit more. If the marks on the dial are actual marks rather than specs of dust, it will be worth a bit less

Thanks, the dial does looks perfect to me, the crystal is scratched and it has the Omega symbol embossed in the center which makes it an asset. I'm thinking the case would be improved a lot by refinishing - I don't know how that would look with the bracelet, and if a collector would prefer to do the deciding about refinishing vs actual on a 50 year old watch. The movement was serviced and it runs beautifully.

If I were selling, I would be happy to get $5k USD in the current market, but TBH you might have to accept a bit less.

Refinishing the case will generally devalue the value arch as collectors prefer originality.
