Bought this watch from Ebay and wondering about authenticity. The dial has the lettering which are kind of erasing or slightly moving. The Swiss on 6 o clock is almost erased, some letters are visible.
Also watch runs about three seconds fast which is for a vintage very accurate.
Thanks.

Better photos would help, but it looks like the dial has been damaged. If I had to guess, I'd say someone tried to clean it. Some of the outer minute markers are missing and some of the letters are damaged. If you got the watch for a low enough price, it would be feasible to find a replacement dial.

The hands are not original.

Paid $700 for it and was looking for vintage oysterdate dials, currently negotiating one for $200.
I really have skinny wrist and it fits me well. Looking for the DateJust alternative.

I think you got a good deal. Really like these old Tudors.
