If bezel isn’t seated right, you send it back.
That’s what warranty is for anyway.

Maybe I should just stay quiet, but after a few days of stiff winding my 3861 winds smoothly and maintains a +60 power reserve.
It's an excellent timekeeper and I have had no issues whatsoever with any chrono functions 😀
Well that was then and this is now. My new 3861 Speedy is my everyday beater. I put it on in the morning and take it off at night. Like every manual wound watch I've ever worn on a daily basis, I get it a few winds every morning before I put it on. After a few weeks my Speedy quit running after 19 hours. I called SGUS and spoke with the same Service Rep I spoke with before. He advised me to send it to them as something must be wrong. Needless to say they got my watch yesterday. Now only "time" will tell but I'll keep looking for a 145.022-69 with my beloved 220 bezel 😉

"If it doesn't fit, you must acquit"......works with a watch just like it does with a glove.

I just heard from SGUS. They received my watch and it will be assessed then they'll get back to me. They're very busy and it may be 6 to 8 weeks before I hear from them 🙁 Those of you that wants one of these 3861 Speedies may want to wait until they have the "kinks" worked out 🤦

These 3861’s are not doing good things for Omega’s reputation. My 8 day old Speedy Pro is currently back at the Swatch Group being assessed/repaired as the chronograph (and then the whole watch) stops intermittently after starting it. There’s a whole thread of people with the same or similar problems, and more that I’ve found on Facebook.

Not sure what’s going on at the Omega factory these days, but it’s completely unacceptable that they can significantly increase the rrp on their watches, while seeming allowing their quality control to decline.
Gosh, I am having the same problem with my 1861 Speedy that is less than a year old.

(Or that I bought new from AD, less than a year ago)

Got word yesterday that my watch was assessed and there was an amperage issue. They have ordered whatever parts necessary and expect to return my watch fully serviced by Sept.20. Other than my initial mailing costs, $15.US, there will be no service or return mailing costs. Better if there was no problems with these new movements but at least they're doing the right thing 😀

I suspect it was an amplitude issue, rather than an amperage issue. 😀

Too funny and I suspect you're correct, as usual 😀
DA, amperage is for my light fixture, not my watch.
