Probably a fake, but couldn't resist.

The bug has got such a grip on me that I just couldn't resist this when I saw it in a charity shop.
All of my purchases and research to date have been of pre-1980s seamasters and constellations, so I really haven't a clue.
It's a win/win, though....if it's good then I've added to my small collection, if not then £60 has gone to a worthy charity.
Would love to know, though, if any knowledgeable person could kindly advise?

I would venture to say that the watch is not fake. The dial and case look good and Omega Quartz watches are not something that would be faked.

I also suspect it's legit, although I would venture to say that there are probably plenty of fake quartz Omega watches in circulation. 😁

Back is stamped 1338 which generally indicated the caliber used. I can't find any reference to cal 1338 except for watches so I'd be interested to see a pic of the movement and the inside of the caseback.

I think it's genuine, I'm just not able to find pics etc of the actual caliber.
