Although not my style... the bracelet with this watch is pretty cool! Olympic style.

I got that bracelet with a SM120 for my wife years ago, and it was lying in a drawer ever since,

Dragowoman didn't like it with the diver, but she loves it with the chrono.

Now, I suppose I can kiss my Conquest goodbye

Who wants to try to convince me I need a vintage or modern Longines in my collection?

And more importantly who can actually accomplish it? =D

My WW2 Longines Pacific Mission watch with its contemporary newspaper advertisement that reads:
'On October 21, 1942, eight men in a Flying Fortress braced themselves for a forced landing on the Pacific. The captain skillfully broguht the plane down in the valley between two mountainous swells. Three rubber rafts were inflated and the men scrambled into them as the plane settled. Six minutes later, the plane disappeared and the men were alone in the broad Pacific. Thus began an ordeal of drifting; burned with sun and salt water, starved and parched with frightful thirst; that ended with a miraculous rescue 21 long days later. It is now the epic adventure of the Rickenbacker Pacific Mission. One by one all of the watches in the party, except one, stopped running as salt water corrosion attacked the movements. No watches are built for the punishment these watches suffered. But we are proud that the one that kept on running was a Longines.'

So I have been holding on this Longines Chronograph Wristwatch 13ZN-12 23086 watch over the years in my collection debating on sending off to Longuines to get mainspring fixed. Years back I seen where someone was told worth six digits in running condition. So my question on here is am I better off to sell "as is" with main spring needing fixed by who purchases or would it sell faster fixed. I heard last time someone sent off their watch it took months to get back. Came back in exceptional condition but I could use the money now. Do not think original band either. If I am posting incorrectly please advise. Never posted just read over years. Love of Nice watches is huge for me.

Dont, dont send it off to Longines.
Beautiful, valuable, but not quite 6 figures.
