I really want to get an Omega diver for myself next year. Might look at the PO 39.5mm as I haven't checked that out yet. Had plenty of hands-on with the SMPc though. It wears a tad large in terms of lug-to-lug.
The P. O. 39.5 would be my go to for that model.

Mine has imperfections on the edge of the crystal and/or the inner edge of the bezel, the cyrstal isn't round and the date wheel is misaligned.

Or is it just refelections from different lighting conditions at different angles playing over reflective surfaces.

One of my ears is a little higher than the other. It's always a problem getting my glasses to sit level across my face.

Even the Globemaster has a misaligned date; now all watches without a date start making sense to me 😀

Yeah, when I first edited that image, it showed up gray, but then something happened when I converted it to a different format. Not what I wanted.

I could relieve you of your pain by buying it for a modest price, since the date are crooked and all. Just to be a good fellow OF member. 😉

Those Globemasters sure look great! 👍

I'll bite, the 9 o'clock bezel mark is not perfectly level with the dial marker.😉 don't worry the 9 and 3 bezel marks are off in the OPs watch.

Sloppy QC in that factory somewhere in the far east, maybe that 12 year old was a bit tired after an 18 hour shift?

None of these Alpinists have the inner bezel aligned with the dial markers.
Us OCD types have to choose between aligning the 12 or 3,6,9.

Slight imperfections will always be there. If you magnify enough you can always find something.
