I've had my Seamaster 300M in white for a few months now, and I inspected it carefully when I first opened the box and frequently when it's on my wrist. Purchased from a reputable seller here, but was still skeptical simply due to the quality of some of the knock-offs available across the globe. My skepticism was assuaged when I went to Omega online and was able to put in my serial number and view the Master Chronometer test results for my particular watch.
Long story short, tonight I noticed an imperfection on the dial that I simply missed before. The hour marker at 9 oclock is lower than it should be in relation to the printed line. All other markers look good to me, and this is the only imperfection I can find right now.
Since it was purchased outside of an AD, I'm certain there is nothing to be done about this misalignment, and is's not terribly bothersome. However, it does make me surprised that Omega doesn't simply use a template to place the applied markers to the dial so that they are perfect each and every time. It's slightly surprising for a watch in this price range, but a search online shows that it's not that uncommon.
