@Strope Once you have the watch’s serial number, I’d recommend you obtain an Extract of Archives from Omega museum which likely would add significantly to the value if it checks out.

I love all the enthusiasm from you guys 👍 Great advice and encouragement!

I'm affraid the bracelet is nowhere to be found, maybe it has been thrown away during a house move or something. No one in our family remembers ever seeing it so most likely it was thrown away when it was replaced at the shop for more than 50 years ago. Likewise for the original box and papers. Going to reach out to several auction houses in the next few days, so it will be fun to see what their opinion is!

Regarding the relumed hourhand: Nothing has been done to the watch since at least 1970. Maybe something was done before 1970, but not to my fathers knowledge. I do remember that when I found it in the drawer both the hands where on 12. Could that have something to do with it?
So everything on the watch is at least 50 years old, including the bracelet, even though it's not original 😀

I think it says "NO 322 915" I dont know what it means.

I'll let you know when I have any news.

here are some direct emails for Phillips and Christies in Geneva ; makes it easier to get to the right people . refer in both emails, that it is a recommendation from J. Kretzschmar from Australia ; normally they do not like to have their emails out there: Virginie Liatard-Roessli <[email protected]> and Kegel, Sabine <[email protected]> . good luck ! kind regards. Achim

@Strope happy to be helpful in directing you to the appropriate place to sell it at auction otherwise I would be happy to purchase it directly from you north of $100,000 pending inspection. Based on the dial (lower OMEGA and oval O) and the non-painted bezel, I would bet it is a 2915-2. I will send you a direct message. Best regards, Eric Wind

My wife and kids are willing to move and needless to say, they have exceptional character. I just bought a dog and you will receive it for free (after exchange of course). I will send you a direct message. Best regards, shabbaz

@Strope happy to be helpful in directing you to the appropriate place to sell. otherwise I would be happy to purchase it directly from you. I have no wife or child, having already parted with both for a number of camels to a Hasidic gentleman and his brother, eating shrimp at Chez Paul. However, as I wear my watch on my left wrist, I hae a perfectly servicable right arm to give along with a few organs which nature has been good enough to double up on. I'm sure that, with a little disregard to local laws, an accomodation can be reached. Best regards, JimmyD

It all depends on the dog.

I am afraid it's going to be difficult to get an extract for these old ladies... if anyone got lucky enough to have one for a 2915 I am interested in knowing if there are different tricks than luck or being a big auction house
