    I would be interested to discuss a more technical (tax ans customs based) issue. As the seller is based in Norway (outside EU) and he wants to sell the watch physically via auction in Sweden (inside EU), the watch has to be delivered abroad. I am not experiences with that procedure, but my thought is, that the transfer of the watch will cause Import VAT in Sweden, which is not a silly thing.
    I would be interested, how Bokuwskis had advised the OP on that thing.

    Actually the reason I said yes was because for a while it might have been me who paid it - And I was with @gemini4 and @oddboy when it happened.

    Since been eclipsed by the $225,000 paid in November 2018

    Hi, can we as the crowd assume, that the watch you bought was in another collectors condotion (no bent on bezel, no big scratch on caseback, originally bracelet, original crown / pushers etc.) ?
