I think that's what I like about the Seamaster heritage. Not sure that the professional Case and bezel design work that well without the Escape valve

Agree. The heritage is a stunner. Just picked up the blue dial. Wears quite differently for me than the SM Pro.

Will be interesting to see how this new design emerges. I can imagine a slightly smaller, simpler Pro that retains the tech and signature features and offers a more universal wearability (tapered bracelet, etc) doing very well.

Yeah, there are massive differences in how these two watches wear and present on the wrist for sure. Congratulations on your acquisition!

From a glance they look similar but with
  • no HE valve
  • solid hands
  • modernised bracelet

It is as if they listened to the recurring complaints of the SMP.

Whilst it’s a home run for the Aquaracer, (in terms of finally updating that poor calibre5 Selitta). The dial on the green one felt very metallic in its shine, and didn’t have the 3D visualness I find with the SMP & that internal cyclops is jarring.

The two tone speedies as well, plus variations of the AT, niche Olympics and America’s Cup pieces, constellations, women’s pieces. The new release section is pretty big.

And that's something of a problem, imo. Too many facelifts, same models just a little different to get us to buy them.

I can't remember when I read this "announcement" but think/assume is that it will be released by the end of the month? only time will tell

Heard somewhere 22/11 or 25/11 similar 6m timeline of Craig wearing the White Speedy to release.

On the same boat! I just got the white Speedy a few days ago, and I came to know about the November release. I can't wait for it; rumors say by the end of Nov.

I'm not in the market for a new seamaster, because I've purchased the white speedy, a hesalite, the FOIS and a NTTD this year. I'm done for a bit. According to my OB, that one should be any day now, it's a planet ocean.
