It's incredibly simple.
No need to add SOLD as the bump. I used to but now just change the thread title and allow it to get lost in the lower depths as its sold anyway. One thing to remember though is that (I think) watchrecon will pick up on the bump 'sold' maybe @dsio can confirm that?
Well after reading this thread - I PERSONALLY won’t do the SOLD bump. I just sold a piece this morning (to an OF member, yay) and will just edit the title and leave it at that. I think I get what the anti-bumpers are talking about, at least with regards to OHPF and SOLD bumps, and you’ve convinced me to make it my new practice.
Happy Monday everyone!

So after this thread, when I sold my Speedmaster last week, I changed the title to OHPF. I thought I would try not using the "sold bump" post. Just leave the title change.
Since then I have had three messages asking to buy, so I am sorry gentlemen, I am going to add a post to say it is sold.
I think its a storm in a teacup. I always preferred to see a bump with sold on it. Focuses my attention on a watch that has actually sold.
I cannot believe that someone looking for a watch is going to not bother to scroll down.
I am going to add a post to say it is sold.

When it was sold, why didn't you mark it sold?
I cannot believe that someone who reads "SOLD" in the description is going to email you to try and buy the watch.
