I have never seen such FOIS combo before, which has Omega's black alligator strap attached on it. Black one belonging to the Speedmaster Professional Ref. 311.33.42.30.01.002. Original FOIS has brown leather strap without folding clasp. I would be rather careful to buy this particular time peace. In generally Omega FOIS is really cool model and I'm waiting to get such on my collection

Have to say I agree with the last few posts, personally, I’d wait, save a few extra £€$ and get a full set for a few hundred more and should you ever want to sell you will find it much easier. Good luck with whatever you decide 👍

Thank you all for helping me.
All your points are right. I don't need the papers because this watch is for me and not for resale, so I would not mind not having them. However I see now that I can buy a new one near 3400 , and a used full set at around 3000 euros.. So I think I should try to get it at least 50% cheaper than a brand new, which is by the way a real low ball offer(1700 euros!!!).. I need to be careful and set my final offer right...

The seller told me that he is the third owner. The second one was a professional dealer who sold it to him immediately after the first selling.. Do you think that dealer made a quick exchange of straps to sell it quicker or the original strap was destroyed and he had to provide sth else? In the last case I think that the watch had rough times...

It looks genuine, but it's not a hot seller IMHO. You should try bringing the price down a notch. No box, no paper, no service history, and straps in poor condition would explain the "good price". Bear in mind that you will likely have to service the watch when you get it - no service history is as good as no service period - so you can already add up a few 100's to the price.

Yes I am just calculating all this minus and the best offer I can think of is around 2000... So, I am thinking of offering that amount and I hope the seller is not insulted .... 😗

If he's not short-sighted he'll understand your concerns. If he doesn't, then you have one more reason to walk away from this deal.

I don't see the different strap as an issue. People change straps all the time.
Just make sure you know what's included in the sale @Kargol is it just the watch itself, or are both straps shown in the pictures included?
Another thing to keep in mind is that the FOIS uses 19mm straps instead of the 20mm on the Professional.

Also bear in mind that replacement original straps for the FOIS are not that expensive. Under £100 iirc.

Thank you for your points.
The sale includes the black omega strap with the omega deployment clasp.
Oops, If the professional is 20 then I think we got a problem here...

Exactly. It's either not from the Professional, or the might have "made it work" on the FOIS.
Make sure to inspect the ends of the band to see if the shaved a little bit off.

I will ask the seller . I can not see any shaved ends looking at the photos ...

It's not unusual for a 20mm to be put on a 19mm, but it usually makes it even harder to remove. That's when you get the scratches on the back of the lugs. I'd really like to see the watch makers use a better design, spring bars are a pain in the :whipped:

For a watch still in production I prefer a total package, I am always leery when a relatively new watch has no box, no papers and looks overly tired. The OP is budget constrained, got it.. He might just want to delay the purchase and save more money and get a complete unit later on. These are not rare watches. I think he would be happier long term.

Thank you for your point which is really important. however if I can get the watch at a bargain price then it will be good for me since I don’t make so much money. The point is to find the real bargain price and get a good deal. I am still thinking if 2000 is a real bargain. I don’t think it is, after all. Maybe I will have to check my options again.

I think you have to consider that it is an 1861 Speedmaster in good condition. I don't see any selling that low.

I wish you the best of luck 😀

This is not necessarily a 20mm Pro strap. Black croc with deployant is the only official Omega 19mm leather/deployant combination available. It's not wrong, per se, on this example but it's not how it left the factory.
