This was my dad's watch. He got it in 1974 but may have been made earlier.
He got it as a present from my late mother.
I got it from him when he remarried.
There's no omega symbol on the bracelet.
I'll post pictures, but as you can see the face was replaced when the movement died.
I opened the case back and there's no serial number.
Other then mine and my siblings memory, I can find no indication that this used to be an omega.
However, I'm sure it is.
I want to restore it, but cannot find any info as to movement or model number.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,

What makes you think is an Omega?
I remember it being an omega as a kid. I asked my siblings and they do too...

I don't think so.

Geneve was a brand of Omega but this is not an Omega. It does, however, wear an 18K bracelet, which is by no means insignificant.

The geneve was a replacement for the original dial and movement. My father was pretty cheap and likely went with the cheapest. I thought it might be a c shape constellation.

Take it to a watchmaker who can open it up and give you information about what is inside.

Would love to. Are there any recommendations for a reputable one in New York state...

Plenty, but it's a large state. Which city? 😀

I'm more upstate. Rockland county
I wonder if it's possible that this was a custom made band and case with an omega movement and dial. It's beautifully tooled, but it has zero markings.

It's possible, but not likely. Omega supplied their own 18K cases and bracelets.

If this is an vintage Omega Quartz movement there must be some pushers on the crown side of the casing.
Inside or beside the crown.

Anyway there are pictures needed from movement and from inside the cap.

In actuality, I think the movement was replaced, along with the dial.

Well, this is a nice watch, but it is not an Omega. There was a brand called Geneve. Omega had the Geneve collection, but this is different.
I love the gold bracelet though...

Another option I've found is that it might be vacheron constantin. I'm really lost

You will continue to be lost until you take it to a real watchmaker who will crack the case, find the Timex movement, and tell you what you really have!

I don't understand this speculation. Any major brand would have put their name on the dial. It's not a Omega or VC.

And in case this was going to be your next guess, it's not a Patek either.
