Please help identifying gold Omega calibre 610

Hi,

Years ago I bought an Omega dresswatch at an auction. I tried to identify it a couple of years ago but for some reason didnt post on this forum. I didnt have the original foto's anymore so I made some screenshots of the photos in an old topic on a Dutch watch forum. Hope this suffices.

The serial number is 21541252. It seems to be a full gold watch with calibre 610 inside. I still have the box but the strap was changed and i dont have the priginal receipt.

What type of watch is this? And what would be the approx value if I trade it in at a jeweller? I dont wear it anymore so i want to sell it at an auction or trade it in for a watch I would wear.

See attachment for the old pictures.

Thanks for your help!

Better off selling on EBay to an end user. Jeweller has to resell, so going to offer less

Thanks for the replies! And if selling on ebay is the best option, what would a good price be to aim for?

Check eBay’s completed auctions and do a condition comparison. Other choice is no reserve bidding and you take your chances.

At 32 mm as dsio mentions. Going to possibly attract less bidders due to size, so that could affect bidding

Don’t know what currency that is but I think you’d be lucky to get $1000 for that even when 18k. Thats €900 if euros, or £750 if gbp. You haven’t shown the dial, if it’s redialled or damaged expect less.

Could try Facebook vintage omega page. Don’t think you need a set number of posts to sell

Most buyers are going to be looking at the scrap gold content.

I just got a scrap 613 movement (which adds quickset) for 13.50 USD.

Automatics which are 55x, 56x or 75x are going to be more prevalent and have more sold examples. The straight up manual winds are much rarer. It is also harder to remember what 6XX are larger than 25mm and what are smaller ladies calibers like the ubiquitous 620 used in a lot of time only dress watches.

As often stated what really matters is condition, condition and condition.
