Pics of DSOTM with Red Stitch on Outside

In case anyone thinking about doing this, here are some pics. I ordered from Jean Rouseau a few months back with the stitching reversed. Red on outside, black on inside. Very pleased with it!!

Looks very nice 👍 I have a Di Modell strap with similar material and red stitching but just a two hole buckle - this deployant looks extra smart

Here is a link, but I ended up contacting the NY store and I dealt with Kelly who was really helpful. They will make it any way you want, you can even get different color rubber for the pin holes. They made mine the exact length of the OEM strap that came with mine. (I think they are all a little different length from the manufacturer)

Very nice. If the red on yours isn’t the standard colour on the JR website, did you just need to tell them what watch it was for and they matched the red on the dial, or did they need you to specify the colour? I assume they have a number of different “red” threads. Just interested to know for ordering remotely.

I basically told them I wanted as close to OEM as possible with red on the outside. I could have done red on both sides. They seem to be familiar with Omega, the correct sizing etc.

The reason they are familiar with Omega is because they supply straps to Omega.

How do the prices of their straps compare to OEM Omega offerings? And more or less the same quality?

That looks amazing, great idea and you must be really pleased with the outcome. Think I’ve just seen my fathers’ s day present and happy to wait. May I ask what time frame from order to delivered?

Probably a little less money than OEM. Only difference is the lugs are not curved and it does not have the plastic insert for the spring bar hole that the OEM strap has. It also only has the rubber that covers the pin holes on one side, which I think is better, because the pin holes on the deployant go all the way through the strap.

It takes about 30 days. I waited much longer due to Covid.

Ya I've fund the OEM ones can be a bit thick and you don't actually get all the way through the strap with the deployant pin. I'll have to check these guys out. Thanks for sharing!
