I've had a curved end strap done by D9 for a FPJ , and D9 did a great job of making the strap and making it fit into those tricky lugs of Journe's. Great work, a tad expensive, but worth it in my opinion.
These straps have to be some of the best I have seen bar none
Thx man. I wore it yesterday, the strap is thick but curves beautifully and very pliable. I will have another, prolly same hides but subtle brown/black lining for a diff watch.
Ya it’s not for everyone, but I’ll end up with another. I see the value in it.
It will no doubt fit other watches you own / will own and so I think it will provide value to you and you obviously have a good eye so enjoy it whatever you fit it too today tomorrow and further into the future. Wouldn’t be much of a forum without the variety of posts this site gets so thanks for the topic and the photos.
If you are happy with it, then you made a good deal. 😉
I’m am, very much, thanks. I just wanted to show his workmanship and the design I chose, members asked about cost so I shared the invoice. I don’t need vindication on cost. My boss’s AP RO Off Shore hornback band replacement was 2k usd, but it’s what he wanted. Personally, this is way better made, but he got what he wanted and sees value in keeping original brand.
Wow, those do seem dangerous !
If you're comfortable with the price then you should look at Atelier du Bracelet Parisien!
Not my budget range but they do unbelievable stuff. (no ties whatsoever to the company, I just admire their craftsmanship).
It's expensive for sure but how many people drop 250+ on deployant clasps and the like. A lot of people would say paying more than $30 for a watch strap is crazy... All about perspective... (And wealth. Wealth helps a lot on this one. 😉)
