Patching a run flat? Advice needed...

Question: Can you replace only one "run flat" tyre or does the opposite wheel also need to be replaced? I recall a BMW dealer telling me this when BMW were introducing these tyres into the Australian market and he talked me out of the sale - but that was 2008. Just curious.

Confirmed that only the punctured tire needs replacing. It's based on how many kms are on the one that will remain, and in this case they are close enough to being new it's not a problem.
