Originality of vintage Constellation?

The gold-capped Constellation I have left is about the same age as the one you're inquiring about, and it has the (original) buckle with the raised Omega logo, which is, IMO, the most commonly faked one too.

@GuiltyBoomerang Thanks! I have done some reading about the Constellation line, and the story behind it and the Geneve Observatory on the caseback is quite intriguing!

@ConElPueblo That is a very nice buckle you got there! I think you are right about the raised buckles being the most counterfeited, as when i look up Omega vintage buckles on eBay, 95% looks like that. Of course, a lot more shiny since they are all practically new! 馃槈

About the strap, do you remember whether the one you sold him was an genuine crocodile strap or an embossed one? And can i see the rest of the Constellation that you got left? 馃榾

I just got the watch, and i can honestly say that i am very, VERY happy about my purchase! 馃憤
Its simply gorgeous and something completely different from the more regular vintage Seamaster 600 and 30麓s that i have owned before!

The dial is just in a league of its own, and the pictures dont do it justice at all!

I will post some photos later on! 馃榾

By the way...

On those photos you see why I wasn't concerned about the hands with lumen, it is nearly invisible anyway. Also, I don't think your photos are bad, quite the contrary. I found it nearly impossible to get a photo without the light making the dial seem impossibly bright.

This watch appears to be up for sale again? Is it you or is someone scamming? The ad was created today

Not a scam. A very long story made short: Unfortunate events have forced me to sell the watch once again.

Can you tell me if my camera is a real Canon G series or is there something wrong with it?

Sorry to be the one to break it to you.... its just some damn Lieca M6 somebody has tarted up, you'd best toss it now before it breaks your heart.

What kind of band is that / where is it from? Looks nice! Sorry that you have to resell so quickly.

The Leica? Thats a German brand that's something of a holy grail for some camera nuts. Many many dollars, very high quality, very nice lenses.
