Help required - a couple of vintage Omega watches

Hope someone here can help. My father recently passed away, my mother a few years earlier. Among the various items left were a couple of Omega watches and I am no watch expert. I'm calling them vintage as I recall them having them for many years but apologies if they are modern!

I am planning to take them to a local jewellers for valuation for probate purposes but I wouldn't mind going in with at least some knowledge of whether these have any value. I have done a quick trawl of the internet to find similar but can't find anything that close. Hope they aren't knock offs.....;-)

First is a c31mm men's watch. It has De Ville and Turler markings. It's similar to a Seamaster but doesn't have a logo on the rear. Strap seems to be new/nothing special.

Second is a 16mm ladies gold watch with 18k gold strap. No dial marking other than Omega logo.

Thanks

Both are real, the first one could be a De Ville Cal 711 ultra-thin in either solid gold or gold-plate, both were made. If the case-back is a silver metal like steel then its gold plated, if its a gold case-back most likely solid gold.

The ladies’ model is an Omega Saphette, it’s probably worth melt value of the gold, the men’s De Ville is worth a few hundred if gold-plated, more if solid gold, probably over $1k.

Although many Omega's from the late 60's/early 70's which is where I'd estimate these are from, has engravings on the caseback, some were left intentionally blank to be used as anniversary watches which may be the case here.

Thank you for your replies, much appreciated. The caseback on the men's watch is gold so hopefully it's solid gold. And Davidt, I think your dates are about right: we lived in the USA around that time (we returned to the UK in 1972) and I would have said that they were purchased there although I have no paperwork
