I surely can try. But if I were the seller, I would like to know what is offer price first since I have been going to and fro with him on some of these observations that I have gathered.
I am thinking that a fair valuation of the price of this watch, if hands and dial have not been relumed (and shown via a UV exposure video showing how fast the lume dies off) will be in the right range of the seller鈥檚 asking price. Hope to hear advices from the forum please. Thanks

I guess that's one way to look at it, but I like to know if I'm really interested in the watch before making an offer. You already know that the case-back is replaced, and you've noticed that the case is a bit soft. If you find that the hands are re-lumed, will you still want to buy the watch?

I'm not a speedy guy, but a case like that would put me right off.

I agree with some of the previous posts. This watch does raise one or two questions. By MWO, or SM101,The serial is early for a 105.012-66. Also I'm not sure when they introduced the 32 tooth crown??? 馃槙... maybe should be 24 tooth crown.

I think for that money, you ought not to be having doubts that the case (or case back) and movement didn't leave the factory together.

Actually, you have a very valid point. As it is now, with the wrong caseback, wrong bracelet and seller had not indicated any of this until I asked and provided reasoning, I am already very reluctant to proceed with the purchase. The only thing is that I find the entire ensemble very very nice after having seen so many of the others on sales (of course provided the dial and hands on this one had never been relumed). Hence, I turned to this forum for advice.

in that case, ask the seller to cut the price to half 馃榿, otherwise stay out of it. this type of selling will certainly affect with undisclosed infirmities all other sellers with good samples. you made the right move to consult this forum.
