·I purchased this watch from a member over on watchuseek. Did a bit of poking around before I bought it, and as far as I can tell it looks pretty original. I got a nice price and I love the watch, it had just received a full service too which was probably a good chunk of the price I paid. So if it’s not the most original piece I don’t really mind but I’d just like to hear peoples opinions in case I came to sell it or gift it.
The only thing of note I see is the dial segment line extending through the ‘cosmic’ text. Although I have seen examples like my watch and where the line breaks before the ‘cosmic’.
The dial seems pretty nice though and some signs of age are evident. Maybe seems a little clean though...
Case might have been polished a little too but the lines/edges still seem quite sharp. Crown seems to be original.
Haven’t seen the movement as you have to pop the crystal with air. But runs about +10s/day.
Oh and the crown is pulled out to stop the hands for pictures.
No idea what the engraving says. Hopefully not “really awesome fake omega” 😀
Anyway I’m very new to this so I thought I’d throw it out there to the knowledgeable collective.
Yes this is my first post...I promise to be helpful to the forum as I continue this hobby!
Cheers.
