Opinions on this rose gold 40s bumper Omega - too underpriced?

@Dan S Give him some time. 😀

If he already purchased the watch, he can restore the photos. This excuse of saying that he will post them when the watch arrives sounds like an excuse to me. I don't recall this type of behavior being well tolerated in the past. We're just talking about photos.

So now that the OP has purchased the watch, where are the photos. Lots of promises, but still not posted. After getting such helpful advice, it's the least he can do, and this type of behavior could make members less interested in helping him in the future.

The watch is not yet in my possession. I am also waiting for it. I am also aware that my image is at stake here.

Misunderstood you there - you‘re right, restoring the initial pictures should indeed be possible now. I was thinking of further pictures when I read your post.

The thing is, where I bought it from works like Chrono24. I bought the watch. I received a bill of sale. I wired the money. The dealer is now waiting for the sales portal to give him the ok so he can send the watch to me.

That means he has not even send the watch yet and for some reason, and believe me, I am also disturbed by it, the sales portal is slow and has not yet given him this approval. This portal told us Monday at the very latest should be given the ok.

If the moderation tells me to do so, I will post the pictures again, though.

We will not tell you to do this. It is totally up to you.

Seems fair to wait until the watch has shipped out before posting the pictures.

Can we get some hand-drawn renderings in the interim?

I was the first witness in this thread to reply and seen all the pictures plenty before they were taken down. If my town police dept has a sketch artist I can give it a try.

Many here will hold their breath until the deed is done!
Anticipating results, like bragging about real estate deals that haven't closed, are bad juju to many, myself included.
I'm cool unless there is no follow through, Rudi.
Best of luck on the sale.

A picture is worth a thousand words, so I would settle for a well written poem or expository prose.

So, 54 reply's ...... The OP wanted to know, if euro 300 was too cheap.....euro for a watch in Brazil. Which might be worth 600 ? If that.....PG capped......pictures looked good, but nothing special in my opinion. Why that interest? Is that the Covid effect? Bored? Too muchTime because of self isolation? Curious ..... Kind regards

Well not all of us are sitting on a collection like yours. What's small potatoes to you is the motherload for bottom feeders like me. 😁

I wouldn’t be surprised if you had a few treasures in your watch box— based on what I’ve seen you post for sale on another forum some years ago 😉

I have heard of quite a few storage methods for valuable collections, but not "sitting on a collection". I can see advantages and disadvantages.....😉

Imagine sitting on a plain Jane Geneve for a period of time and have a Golden Pie Connie hatching. I'll have to leave a watch or two under my dogs bed.
