Not sure what they are referring to with "yellow" unless it's the markers and it has a bit of aging but I like the watch. However I have seen most stuff on chrono24 kind of overpriced so you might want to wait and keep an eye on this site's sales section to see if something similar comes along.

Please post pictures, links don鈥檛 work after a while. 馃榾

I鈥檇 want a picture taken from the dial without an angle, I think. Not sure if it鈥檚 simply the picture, but what鈥檚 with that lug:

Is that bent to hell or can they actually look like this from a certain angle?

Better pictures are required. I dont trust those pictures. The dial condition could be worse then seen on these pictures. But I must admit I'm lying on the beach looking at my.phone.馃榿

I think I鈥檇 like to see more of @Shabbaz-cam than that watch!

looks like evidence of rotor rub on the movement shot, caseback is nice apart from the obvious ding and the case has seen some polishing, but the dial looks honest to my inexpert eyes. Like Fred, I think the price is steep.

I'm lying on the beach

Nice but could you snap another pic when some beach gals are strolling by instead of some random guy and your wet feet? 馃榿

There is a blond woman with fake breasts lying in front of me. I will ask her to pose so I can take a picture for a certain Fred on a international forum.

Thanks all for your input and views, more photos required I think! So far as the year and model is concerned, would you agree that these stack up?

I don't see anything incorrect (the crown is probably a service issue), but you will have to decide if you want a watch with some pretty rough spots, such as the cratered bezel. I wouldn't pay that sort of money for that condition myself, but then again I have seen worse sell for about the same.

Your mileage may vary 馃榾

Now that @ConElPueblo has offered his thoughts, you are unlikely to get much better advice. All I would say to amplify his point is that, because Connies are primarily seen as smart, dress watches, owning one seems (to me, at least) to be only worth it if you can wear it in the smartest situations. That means being choosy about condition.

Ultimately, you will know the context in which you wish to wear it and may be comfortable with it as it is, but I think it鈥檚 worth spending more on one in better condition if you can find one.

I never really quantified it like this before but you're right. I love patina and honest wear on most watches but on a fine dress watch like a Connie they look best well sorted and as pristine as possible.
