Opinions? Do you wind your vintage daily?

Wind them when you wear them, but if its over 10 years since service, stop winding them until they are serviced. You will do more damage to the parts which are getting more expensive everytime I put an order in.
Old oil and grease works like grinding compound when the dust begins to contaminate the lubricants.

Many thanks, @Archer - one lives and learns! So, in your opinion, there is no mechanical merit in occasionally turning over a watch that hasn’t worn in a while?

No.

If wound daily my vintage omegas keep exact time, wound after a long break they ran a few minutes slow. That's why i decided to wind them daily and to start this thread....to see whether something may be wrong with my watches, and if it makes sense to keep winding them because i wear them every other couple of days.

It's more a question of how long it has been since the last service, not how long it has been since the last winding.

Sounds like the main issue here likely relates to your watch not having a full service in at least 10+ years. My watchmaker told me it’s recommended to service your regularly worn watches at least every five years. Best bet is to show a watchmaker in person for their opinion, most, if not all, will assess for free.
