Hi folks, recently saw this caliber 564 Seamaster for sale on Ebay:

Does the dial looks original? correct crown and hands? Over polished?

"Overpolished" is putting it mildly. Search for the seller name on this forum and see what comes up.

Should the caseback not be 168.024 on these chronometer models?
I know the 166.010 caseback is interchangeable but would have expect to see dual reference at least.

ah, this background, that's definitely from someone who will sell a refinished/over-polished vintage watch. There are a bunch of sellers using the same background, the one which I remembered the name was "montre48"

Sometimes you see them only with the 166010
