Opinion on Seamaster 552 condition (by pics)

Hello!

I am interested in this piece, but not sure if it has right crown and if the movement is too tired.
I am not used with this movement 552 so if it need service I will face trouble.
What your thoughts?

The fact that they had it apart to show the movement and inside the case but didn't provide photos of the dial would give me pause, what are they not wanting you to see?

Yes I agree.

I would certainly ask for some close up pictures of the dial before committing to this.

They have more pictures of the dial without the crystal on the eBay ad actually. It does look a bit damaged around the edges.

I think you might be able to get a much better condition for only a bit more.
