Not necessarily, as the looser the head links fit the more they clank against the engraved model and serial numbers, and the 6:00 head link on the watch pictured is seriously loose. Getting them tightened to fit closer to the case usually means the inner spring bar tube gets closer to the engraved numbers as well. Believe me we have seen it many times...
