I was just gonna say the same. Does Omega track in any form for which serials they’ve provided extracts? If not I’d suggest you install the orange Chrono hand and ask again… 😁

I had thought the same thing. Moreover, the elderly watchmaker who sold it to me told me that he remembered the owner who didn't like that absurd color for a classic watch. He tells me that that watch made him constantly revise and he immediately removed the bracelet because he ate the cuffs of his watch. In short, this is to say that he could have been a customer who was not happy with the orange hand. ahahahahhah
That hour and min hands would be my first go to. Maybe look for those too while at it?
Omega have no idea which are legit The range is around 3-4k serials. Resubmit with a Vietnamese red hand and get your UM extract. It’s a very dodgy situation but why should you miss out. Likewise why should anyone be daft enough to pay a massive premiun for a red hand when there are in theory 4k others and some are fake.
Snoopys run to thousands of copies and justify megabucks. Maybe the UM is with it too despite there being maybe 30-40x as many as some originally though.
Are you wanting it to be an ultraman because you actually like the orange hand or because they command a price premium?
I'm starting to collect speedmasters now. The purchase of this watch was a surprise and an opportunity. In any case I am happy and I will not sell it because it is a model that I was looking for and that I want. By movement and year. Now I'll look for one from 1974. The Ultraman speech was born because I immediately noticed the non-original Omega hand and treated the price on that one. I was told what I wrote. Through a book I discovered that the other hands are also incorrect and I bought a complete set of the period in the UK. Two weeks ago, looking for news on 145.012-67 of 1968, the ULTRAMAN discourse was born. Everything fit together. I read that in that year of production, ULTRAMAN in that range of serials, so the need to know grows. When I also read Mexico from the extract despite being bought in Italy, my desire to know is even more founded. This is the spirit of my post. Then I don't even know where to buy that lancet. Probably even if ULTRAMAN had been written on the extract, I would never have found such a rare replacement.
