HI all, i am new to this forum and would like some advice on buying a used Omega watch for myself. i have been looking for a real nice one in original condition and found some one here at https://www.bobswatches.com/omega-watches/
I am particularly thinking of buying the below one at $4995. i have been searching used Omega prices for a week and this seems correct. I'd appreciate any tips or advice. thnx

5k for a normal modern full box set?? Too high, you can get this for cheaper if you look around.

It's way too expensive, you can get one brand new from Jomashop with the same price.

I don't know in which country you live (I guess the US but who knows)

There is this listing on ebay Italy that popped out this morning for a full set at 3,800€ - this is not clearly not the best price you can get though but in 2 minutes search you can already find way cheaper than the add you posted 😉

Watch hunt is always a matter of patience and learning 😁 so take your time reading the numerous post of this forum and don't hesitate to come with additional links once you will have a better idea of prices and conditions 😉

In my experience, Bob's watches gives sellers way too little and charges buyers way too much - not a company I would do business with.

Also be sure to look at the Watch Sales section of this forum - for modern watches, there are a few established sellers that can get you a much better deal.

+1 for keeping an eye on the sales areas of the forum. I've bought three things here and all have been smooth deals.

Not affiliated with the seller, but just an example of what you can find here:

Agree, I have also bought 3 watches on this forum and I am very happy with the quality and price of all three.

I can attest to that
