I have this vintage Omega Constellation automatic chronometer from my grandfather. I think it’s from around 1965 and got it fixed by Omega in Switzerland. I think my grandfather removed the original (leather) bracelet and it now it has a steel one not from Omega. Although I like it, I am looking for an original Omega bracelet and I think the beads of rice is the right one. Does anyone know where I can find a reliable seller for it and if it’s findeable? I live close to an Omega store in Amsterdam, so might ask them, but saw this forum. Many thanks!

Looks like a 168.018 which has 19mm lug spacing.
These BORs are less common than the 18mm versions.

Very nice looking watch, you have an example with the not so common hour markers!

556 end links should also work but both are a bit tricky to find.

Ebay is a good source, if you find one ask here on the forum before you buy it

Would this be a good one? Seems like a fair price, but it’s aftermarket so maybe a bit too shiny.

Only £15? Other ones I find are mostly £150+

For genuine bracelets, yes. Fakes are worth significantly less (or nothing)

Ah okay, yes I’m trying to find a real one, but really hard to find from a reliable seller. So if you have tips from where to buy… 😀

What are you looking for - a 5 row beads of rice - red 1503, 1068 etc?
I believe Omega still sell 555 Endlinks so confirm if your local boutique can order them, then just find a good 5 row beads of rice. If you’re really struggling I have some spares but I’m in the UK and if you’re in the US it shouldn’t be hard to find one.

Ah yes, I live in Amsterdam, can contact the Omega boutique indeed. I am lookin for the full 1068 beads of rice bracelet with 555 end links I think. Do I have to buy the end links separately?

It doesn’t need to be a 1068. The 1503 and 1037 bracelets are identical and all 3 are correct for your watch.
You have two options:
1. Buy the Endlinks separate, either from an Omega boutique or another source. Then buy a beads of rice without Endlinks and pair them up.
This is the easiest solution.

2. Try to find a vintage beads of rice with 555’s. These do come up for sale, but not too often and if they’re a reasonable price they’ll sell quick

That’s the right bracelet but it seems to have part missing and it’s also very expensive.
I’m sure a member here will have one in the EU for under €200. If you’re really struggling send me a DM - I’m sure I have one spare and it will be less than €200 without Endlinks (although you would obviously need to pay import duty, hence why it’s better to get one from the EU).
€350 for a bracelet that’s missing links and have no Endlinks is far too high

Ah okay, good to know David. Again, many thanks for helping, I don’t know anything about it. Will look for a bracelet for around €200! 😀

Do you know good websites or resellers for it? Or is a forum like this the way to go?

I can’t recommend any websites as it’s extremely rare I buy from a dealer. I’d advise watching eBay or ideally the parts for sale section of this forum
