Hmmmnnn...

So I bought this omega watch online but I cant afford more much more to check its authenticity.

I went to jewelly shops and if i mention sell, they seem interested but as soon as I mention about valuation they dont seem interested.

Ive been trying to read a lot how to check its authenticity online but still no idea.

Wondering if I should just sell it to get my money back. Not just sure how much since i have no paperworks that can go with it.

I'm just interested in 1960s Omegas.... the one you posted looks like a fake to me...

Hope I will be proven wrong by more knowledgeable members here

Good luck!

Just thought of adding more photo as I was unable to take a clear one earlier. And yes, would appreciate comments regarding this watch. 馃槄 If its not genuine then its a lesson for me to learn not to impulse buy lol

Are these YOUR pictures? Did you check on www the engravings of the back (case) and bracelet?

Check carefully the engravings and the position! of these (compare, compare and compare on www) . You can do some own research and train your eyes.
The specialistst on OF need sharp pictures. Put the watch on a grey paper and take better pictures - and then wait for the Pro麓s!

You bought a watch for less than $1K, a watch thats sells in the many thousands of dollars on reputable sites.
What caliber (movement) do you suppose is fitted to your watch?

Could you take a shot of the movement showing the balance wheel?

That is not a co-axial movement or even an Omega movement - the real cal. 750 movement from Omega was used in the 60s and 70s and looks nothing like this. It鈥檚 a fake.

ouch... looks like a low-effort fake. That movement is not a Omega movement, and I suspect the "750" text is borrowed from the marking for 18k gold, which is used wrongly in this case.
