Is the AT day-date steel case on a steel bracelet? If so, I would guess a used dealer would give you maybe 2500. And you might get a little more selling it yourself if you’re patient. Those watches were released in 2013.

I like the vertical symmetry of the 8602 model. And the vertical teak on the AT dial adds to that.

Anyway it’s personal preference. I’ve owned a Constellation 8602 and enjoyed it. Never had a strong desire for a chronograph but if I did I would get the new Speedmaster.

I’m a little confused—are you asking whether to keep your Aqua Terra or sell it to fund a Zenith? I think that’s what you’re saying.

If so—and maybe this is not surprising for someone on the Omega Forums—I’d say no.

2500?? Wtf will not sell for that price. Worth more isn’t it?

Why?

It’s a matter of personal opinion: that AT is (in my opinion) one of the best looking watches in the entire AT line, and maybe one one of best in Omega’s catalog, period. I personally find chronographs rather unattractive: busy dials, not a terribly useful complication. Honestly, they’re just so different, it’s hard to compare. But if it were my choice, it’d be the AT and it’s not even a contest.

As for price, the AT seems to trade for about $4500 preowned. I think it’s about right that a major reseller (like Crown and Caliber, DavidSW, European Watch, OCWatchGuy, etc) would offer around $2500 for it, as they’d need to make money on the deal. But who knows, you might get more—and definitely more if you sell it privately, but that’s always riskier, and it could take several months, whereas going with one of those places makes it all very fast and easy.

Thanks. Does the ref no on AT bracelet 1517 mean anything?

Much as I love Omegas the El Primero is superb and I love mine, the striking 10th is the modern Zenith piece I’m most keen on and I’d probably take that over an AT.

That El Primero is a bit more polarising, looks like something from the Nataf collection when he was hitting the nose candy a bit too hard

I'd keep that lovely AT over that particular Zenith all day every day. That Zenith has a face for radio whereas the AT is understated class.

Normally I’d say the el primero out of the two but I don’t like that iteration of the el primero. It looks like it’s lazy eyed and smiling. Keep the AT

To be honest you sound more bored than over the AT. If you sold it, would you have seller’s remorse?

AT Yes, classic, elegant, a watch you can wear the rest of your life.
Zenith Big NO, ugly duckling that begs for attention, a kids watch.

Yes, it is the reference number for the bracelet on some Aqua Terras.
