·Hi all,
I decided to offer here my Zenith El Primero De Luca Mk2 automatic chronograph from around 1990. Reference is 02.0310.400
The birth of the De Luca line has become the stuff of legend: briefly, it owes its name to Zenith's official importer in Italy and, In total, between 1988 and 1996, 4085 were made with black dials (reverse panda), and 2350 with white (panda), split between 4 versions.
My example, completely original, belongs to the second series and is in good condition. It has been worn, but only moderately, and it shows. I purchased it about a year ago from its original owner here in Rome.
It features a 40 mm stainless steel case with a 22 mm lug width, pump pushers, and its original signed screw-down crown.
The original black dial is in excellent condition, with its original Mercedes hands and the original unidirectional tachymeter bezel in good condition. The only replacement is the lume pip, which was restored during the recent service.
The automatic El Primero 400 movement was fully serviced in March 2026 and is working correctly in all its functions.
The watch comes with the service invoice, a good quality leather strap and its original buckle.
Considering conditions and the overall good functionality I'd like to get 3950 euros net to me, with shipping costs and modality to be decided with buyer.
Payment via bank wire strongly preferred, a face to face in Rome is obviously possible.
I have some good feedbacks so far on OF at the following links both as buyer and seller, but plenty of references from other international fora and ebay can be provided if needed:

I have tried to provide photos taken in different lighting and environmental conditions so you can get an idea of the overall genuine originality and condition of this watch.
But, before pics, thanks a lot OF for the opportunity and thanks you all for looking.
Thanks!
Alessandro
