Well its a famous advert, from 40th anniversary in 2009 - but so far searching online, the speedmaster is normally in the photo as well

The main base is a standard heavy piece which can hold whatever photos on the front... hung at 4 screws !

Wow, would love to own this. I've got the 40th Speedy, the 40th Pen and the newspaper. Boy would that complete the package.

Folks

Things happen fast in Speedy land !!!!

It appears that first and second movers are no longer interested

FYI - The item is at

Maltings Antiques
Station Road, Unit 3
Sawbridgeworth
Herts
CM21 9JX

not sure if any of you know this part of the world, but there are 7-8 very good large antique shops in this huge complex (on both station side and river side), plus one shop in the village itself, and you could quite easily spend a whole day here hunting.

My brother visited yesterday, and got the seller down to £170, but you could press harder for sure

its a well made item apparently, made of metal and my bro reckons it could weigh up to 15 kg !
(Not sure if they are willing to ship or not though?)

best of luck, paul

pls let us know the outcome if one of you snag this

Agree - According to my Bro, its a fantastically made, heavy piece - metal and glass over the print/photo advert

i’d love it myself, but i’m in Texas, and have too much “stuff” already
