Hi guys,

The watch will feature a full steel braclet and a case without any gold. Just the the numbers on the dial will be yellow gold, as well as the rings of the totalisators.

I had the watch on my wrist three weeks ago and it looks nice. However there is a strict NDA and that is the info also Omega ADs can reveal so far. (If u squeeze them enough). Pictures have been strictly forbidden during the event and that has been strictly enforced by Omega staff. ( You also had to hand in your mobile while having the watch on your wrist...

Iam in weekly contact with Omega as more and more is leaked (like the 6969 pieces), so probably pictures will be even released in the next few weeks. (Omega planned 15th of May in the presentation during „time to move“.

By the time we hear the news, Game of Throne would be halfway done... Man, I can't decide which one needs more patience...

Do you know if the dial is still black and movement it will be based upon?

Dial is black, yes. Movement was morelike a secret, but i doubt 321... However the price tag was suggesting that in the first place, as the significant uplift in price was not really explained.

It is black. Movement 3861. 321 might be for platinum version coming later this year. (Price tag 50k+)

Omega spend tons of money to MRT/MRI the old 321 and rebuild it. However the have been very secretive in regard to the SS movement and the price still seems a bit off given the amount of gold which is used.( Most of our clients questioned the price increase and i have about 10 who already called back their deposit.)

Price increase? You mean from the regular speedy professional? In uk is it possible to put any deposit down yet?

Do you think it might be white gold in the bezel and pushers. That could increase the price.

I’ve spoken to a couple of OB in UK, no deposit required to get on their wait list, no guarantee either though.

Yep, as gold details seem not to justify 9600 CHF...

Omega stated ig is steel and also the reference number confirms that.

Does sound high, but I can’t even get on any list in London. No OB even confirms it exists!

Many have already taken deposits. I put mine down a couple of weeks ago.

With 6’969 pieces, a price tag of CHF 9‘600 and just a little bit of Gold accents Omega is really pushing the boundaries and testing the limits. Ok, there's the new calibre 3861.

Well I'm still excited to see this new watch. Can't wait...

I had put a deposit down but decided to pull it back. With that many being sold (6969), they will quickly be selling online close to or even below retail price once the flippers start getting theirs. I'd rather wait for next year's Apollo 13... hopefully Snoopy 3!

I'm starting to think along those lines, too - then again it will be hard to top Snoopy 2! Maybe the unthinkable happens and I'll pass on ALL 50th editions...

cal861 had been the mass produced chronographic omega caliber, than 321. so it wont be a surprise to see 3861 to be marketed in that projected figure. though the price is on the high side.
