While I was messing around with my Watchgecko polished H-Link bracelet (had to remove 3-links) it occurred to me that I just need another three links and I could make this:-

Has anyone seen The Talented Mr. Ripley? This is a poor photo, but that mesh band looks great when you see it in the movie.

Thinking of buying a 20mm Omega mesh bracelet for my future Speedmaster Tintin edition.. I love the mesh, but don't know how the combo will look.
I have only this picture as a reference (found on timezone). Any thoughts on this guys?
It seems to rough for the Speedmaster, which is a classic sportswatch in my eyes. Maybe turning the end links to the flat side will do the trick 馃槙

A couple of pictures of the astronauts version with mesh to make a comparison.
Looks great with this version, which is seems lighter because of the smaller knitting (?)

Apologies for resurrecting this thread but it came up on my search and I didn鈥檛 want to start a new one!

Will the strapcode bracelet work with the OEM seatbelt Deployant?

I鈥檝e been looking for a 20mm for a while but only seem to come up on eBay.

Good question. I did some quick research and her eis what I came up with: I think that if the Strapcode mesh pieces both measure 20 mm at the end and are of more or less the same knitted structure, they will fit the Omega seat belt clasp.

If you are looking for a 20 mm Omega mesh bracelet I am pretty sure these are still available at any AD. Not sure if you can get the clasp solo though.

But Strapcode seems to have only 8 rows, Omega have 9 rows.

One question as well: I can buy an old one Omega mesh. I've seen some postings in the past concerning the mechanism in comparison to the new one. Is ther really a difference and is the new one better? Don't like to buy the old one if its mechanism doesn't works well. Even if it has the old diver extension. But the old one is also more expensive than a new one.

Thank you RLC! One more question.

The picture above shows a bracelet that I could buy. I notice, it always has alternating a 8 and a 9 row. I've never seen it like that before. All Omega Mesh straps I've seen so far have 9 rows in a row. Is the bracelet a fake?

Buy it...
Here is what to look for on the clasp...I doubt it's a repo.
Here is a pic of what came on the watch when I bought it, I now have it on a Tag.

BTW I don't see how it would be possible to design the bracelet any other way.
