Hi everyone

Bit of advice if possible

I have had now for a few years my Seamaster Quartz which is dated about 1979

It has the calibre 1342 quartz movement

It works , had new battery's fitted etc ...but it seems to lose about 2 -3 minutes every few weeks

Is this fixable or will it slowly decline and get worse ?

I have added pictures of my watch for reference

Many thanks
Mark

My 1342 is stable on losing 1 sec a day or a minute every 6 weeks. That's after a service in Bienne 3 years ago. As that is better than every mechanical watch I have I think can live with it. My only other (non-beater) quartz, a Seiko 20 years younger, runs about 1 sec per month.
