Omega Seamaster Memomatic - alarm button stuck

Hi

I just bought a Seamaster Memomatic at an auction but now notice that the crown/button for setting the alarm is completely stuck.

It is supposed to be pulled out for setting and activating the alarm but it will not move an inch. I used as much force as was possible with fingers/nails but dared not use any tools.

Known problem? Any idea of cost to repair?

Auction house will allow a return/reimbursement but I do want the watch…

all should work correct - otherwise, if parts will be needed, the watch has to be send
to Omega

a watchmaker can open and check the watch generelly, but parts for this
movement he will allegadly not have

otherwise perhabs it is only a little problem, that can be solved without changing parts
