Have my father’s Seamaster DeVille from the 1960s that he passed on to me when I was 18. That was 50 years ago. Being young and not too careful I did not treat it with the respect it deserved and it stopped running 4 years later. Watch repairer (don’t remember if they were that ‘professional’ or not) said couldn’t fix it. Put it away until a couple of years ago when I decided that I want to restore it, no matter what, to honour my father’s memory. what is the best course of action, master watch maker, Omega service and restoration. If anyone can advise would appreciate. Can add pics later

Getting your father’s watch running again is a wonderful goal. Clear, high res pics will be needed, and let us know whereabouts you’re located so a watchmaker recommendation can be made
