·Hi everyone,
Currently I am looking to buy my first serious watch. After a while I made my mind up and decided what I am looking for: a vintage Omega, with a strong preference for the Seamaster model. And a specific model caught my eye; a Seamaster Deville, from around 1966 / 1967 with the reference 165.007.
Obviously, I have done research myself. First of all I have checked the given info on the Omega database and that all was what it should be. I also googled the model, series etcetera to get aware of any flaws by comparing it to other watches.
But before I decide to make a bid, I still have some questions for you guys:
* First of all, does this model look legit to you?
* Does the crown look original?
* Do you see any flaws, that my unexperienced eye did not notice?
* And last, but not least: what value would you give this piece?
Info:
Model: Seamaster Deville
Reference: 165.007 / 165.0007
Caliber: 711
Movement: automatic
Material: Stainless steel & 14k gold
Size: 32,5 mm (without crown)
Thanks in advance for your help!
