I'm going to have a bit of a clear out of some of my collection I don't wear with the intention of reinvesting in a couple of new watches, which is starting with this beautiful 501 which I traded a few months ago with a dealer friend here on OF. I simply haven't worn it since I got it. The watch is an absolutely stunner, reference 2848 running a circa 1960 cal 501 movement.
The movement has just been fully overhauled and serviced and is in perfect condition, the case is excellent, it could have had a light refinish at some point but IMHO it is one of the nicer examples out there. The dial is the real stand out item on the watch, its showing light even patina but the radium markers are all intact and an amazing honey patina and two tone cream/ champagne dial is out of this world.

The watch comes with hang tags and a stunning period croc band and buckle
It really is one of the nicest 501's Ive owned.
