The leather strap was extremely stiff for me in the first week. This includes the buckle.

Sometimes it felt like I needed to use excessive tension to release it.

I wore the watch a notch tighter for a couple of days to get it to contour. Once it did and I loosened it to a normal sizing it was much easier to put on and off.

Maybe give that a try. Glad you are liking it.

Thanks for the advice. Cheers!

Another small seconds breaks free into the wild!
Beautiful! Does it come with an alternative NATO strap?

Yes it does

A grey one

And each watch comes with the alternative leather as well. Eg small seconds comes with the dark blue leather strap

I will have to check. I only noticed the alt leather one. Have not played with it too much yet.

Beautiful watch. Just spent two hours working my way through the independent stockists on the Omega UK website. Missed a tan one by an hour . Quite a few blue knocking about. I am on a couple of waiting lists and in a ballot for the small seconds tan

Beautiful!

I’ll tell you a secret: some pages ago I started to ask for a picture of this watch with the optional NATO strap, but nothing yet. And none is available on “google images”.

So the secret is that you have the opportunity to be the first to post a picture of this model with a NATO in the WWW.

Don’t miss it! 😉

Been thinking about the central second version but have to get rid of my explorer first. Any idea what is the lug-to-lug length, under 50mm?

Was anybody able to discover if this watch is waterproof? so many writing in the dial and on the case back, but no word (or number) about it.

I'm asking because its name is SEAmaster...

Edit: Pardon, the web site says 6 bar / 60 meters / 200 ft of water resistance.

That happened to me a month ago with the center seconds model. I was told that the product page didn’t update to account for the purchase of the last item.

Luckily I got the model the next day on the site, so keep looking.
