Hope you get it. Was it SC or SS? I’m still waiting on news on mine.
Central - from the general online reaction it feels to me as though the SS has been more popular and I think it looks great, the hands in particular, but there was something a touch more modern about the CS and as the face is plainer it’s slightly dressier which is more what I was after. I can’t pretend it’s a big reason but I like that it’s thinner than the SS too as both models are a little on the thick side for dress watches. All just personal preference though!

One con for me is that the crown is a bit hard to grab so the manual wind is difficult. Anyone else has this problem?

Welcome to the joyous world of the wonderful Omega Seamaster clover crown! When you're finally sure you could not be more frustrated with it, try graduating to a decagonal Constellation crown and completely lose all faith in humanity.

It arrived today, here are some pictures including a couple of angles I had been curious about before. The face of the watch is white, but it’s texture gives it a sort of champagne colour sheen in certain lights, it’s fantastic. Delighted I changed my mind (back) and Omega finally delivered - all is forgiven!

The case back which has, shall we say, provoked mixed reactions, is also slightly opaque rather than being completely transparent which I think helps soften the contrast with the etchings which let’s face it are busy. Beautiful! How thick is it? Seems kinda thick in the pictures.

11.2mm and with the domed casing any thicker and it would start to move away from being a dress watch I think. The SS is 11.65mm and I haven’t seen any live pics yet on here maybe they have been slower off the production line.

Collected my small seconds

Fantastic service from my local OB again

Pic spam as some have requested it.

They did a lovely job on the dial, pearlescent almost, speckled, love the applied markers. Omega logo is quite visible as you can see in the photos. Brushing on the sides is lovely and like their museum pieces, as are the extended lugs.

The box is incredible, I’ll take a pic soon. It’s got a magnetic element to it to hold the watch in place inside. So no recess like usual. The magnetic is strong too. Strange to have in a watch box but clearly a sign on this watches anti magnetic movement.

Watch sits high on my wrist due to me have fairly large / flat topped wrists and the leather pin buckle strap is very very stiff. Therefore on my wrist it sits up.

To counteract I’m wearing it ultra tight in the pics to get it to contour, otherwise it sits up off the wrist.

Nice vintage pin buckle like the 1957 broadarrow trilogy piece.

Wind on this master chronometer movement is anti clockwise to advance time. Crown is decent but not as good a wind as some of the speedmasters / CKs

Thrilled.

Thank you

Omega logo etched into crystal is definitely bigger and creates a lovely omega shadow in sunlight

Not sure how long it’ll last but the center-seconds model is currently available on the Omega website. Someone please buy them out so I’m not tempted.

Actually, when you click on "Add to Basket," there's an error message stating the product is not available.
