Good Day!

This is my first post in this username, my original handle is Rex123 and I mostly post in C Case thread however my a email account for that account was gone and I was locked out so for now I am using this handle.

For this thread, I want to ask you guys and experts on Omega Seamaster 120 skin diver.
I encountered a vintage seamaster 120 selling at around $1050. I dont have any experience on this watch so I cant really tell if the movement belongs there and every thing belongs to the watch.

so here are the photos;

i'd appreciate if you let me know what you guys think

Not an expert at all : the movement is different from the 166.027 (equipped with a 565) sold last week here.
It could help to ask a picture of the inside of the case back with the reference model.

Though if it it happens to be actually original : it would be a great deal at this price !

Let the expertise come 😀

Thanks, I'll try ask for caseback photo

I think the difference is that 565 is automatic, but still not sure about these photos

The answer is in the ref code. If the second digit is a 6 it means it is automatic. The one posted by the OP is a 135.027, so manual winding.
For 1050$ I would go without doubts.

It’s fake and has been artificially aged to make it appear genuine.

You are totally right, I didn’t see the grey writings on the dial.

They’re getting better at ‘ageing’ these but the tells are still there.

I was thinking the same thing, it wasn’t as immediately obvious as they normally are. Gotta keep sharp folks!

Can you precise / teach us how to see that ? If not on the thread itself (avoiding faker to get better) by PM. I’m keen to learn and start training my own eyes !
