omega seamaster 120 166.073 case back issue

hello there , I have this omega seamaster 120 ref# 166.073 , the watch itself , tha case is a good condition , when I got this one on eBay many years ago it came from Taiwan ,🙃the seller stated that there was some pitting on the back case and did try to remove it , but from the picture you can see he butchered the back really bad, I think there was no pitting but possibly some ingraving that he wanted removed , any way how do I fix this butchered case back , is it possible , please any advise opinion will help , thank you , kazd

Yes it is black dial , the watch is a in super fine condition except the butchered case back , wondering how I can fix it, thanks for your reply , kazd

Ah thank you for this valuable advise and yes does look like he used a dremel tool , the cuts are kind of substantial but hopefully I can do what you suggest and if not completely only maybe improve it a bit and not to compromise the case back integrity , it is a awesome looking watch , not sure if replacement can be found somewhere but probably expensive , I’ll have to look in to it , thank you again , good day, kazd🤗🌞
