Hi. I want to share another watch in my collection ref.14763 SC, serial no. 19,89x,xxx, cal. 562. It was “linen style” dial without minute track markers. In my opinion , the dial was original and the scalloped crown was original too. I compare “the font” with another ref.14763 (using same font style). From my research, I found another seamaster (from @Private_Doberman) without minute marker too in this forum. https://omegaforums.net/threads/line-em-linen-linen-and-other-textured-dials.83487/ Also, I found another 14763 with linen dial too (but with minute marker) https://omegaforums.net/threads/bea...iber-562-exceptionally-nice-linen-dial.16574/ Finally, my wrist shot: What’s your opinion about my watch? If anyone get omega without minute markers please share. Thanks, Teerapat
Hi Sorry, not a complete Omega watch. I hope you don't mind I share a NOS Connie cal. 551 18k gold dial ONLY without minute markers Have shared in another thread, this dail was bought from a local Omega Agent around 20 years ago when Omega began to terminate agents over the world. Thanks. [EDIT] A member asked the link of the earlier thread. Its listed below for easy reference. https://omegaforums.net/threads/168-005-pie-pan-dial-with-upside-down-star.117674/
Your new acquisition reminds me of my Dad’s Seamaster which I posted here back in 2017. It has no minute marker but has the cross hair which some folks have opined here to be a redial. Upon further inspection of the watch, there’s a date written at the back of the dial (of May 1983) which I believe may be the date when the watch was serviced. Unfortunately I couldn’t confirm the details as my Dad passed away in 1993 and my Mum bequeathed the watch to me some 24 years later. Interesting to note that while the minute markers of your watch resemble mine, the lug on the other hand resembles the Seamaster calendar that was bequeathed to me. Sharing all three Omega Seamaster from my Dad.
Neat watch. I don’t recall seeing these references with a linen dial, but it looks original. By the way.. you have quite a knack for hunting down uncommon dial variants...
Hello again. I just found this one that look the same with mine. This difference of serial number between this two watchers only around 200 . Best regards, Teerapat
Thanks @hoipolloi for your uncommon dial with larger case too. I think my watch use same font pattern with yours.
2577-1 SC, 354 bumper. I've seen others on the 'bay that are also without the minute markers. Not sure whether the decagonal crown is original, but sure happy I've got it.
May want to start your own thread, and also post more photos. I don’t think the thats a 2577 case, so the caseback must have been transplanted.
Sure... wasn't trying to hijack the thread, it was more a response to the lack of minute markers. FWIW, here were the other pics I saved from the webs a while back that made me think mine was legit:
Hi all, more research on my "no-minute-markers" has shown this gem from the mother-ship: And sure enough, I rechecked my watch and it's a 2753-1 sc (not 2577 as seekinseaquest correctly pointed out): So, these dials do exist!
Thanks @PlainVanilla You may found another one in my collection too. https://omegaforums.net/threads/my-new-“uncommon-dial”-which-i-hope-it-was-legit.131788/
I saw this on eBay recently and remembered the thread. 2848 2846 according to caseback, 18k gold, not linen but another "fancy" dial. www.ebay.com/itm/234518882936Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
Looks similar to my no minute marker with uncommon dial but this have thinner ”ribbons” In line with the only other known example that @qazwsx1 own
