Do you have the reference number you mentioned?

I only took the movement detailed picture as posted earlier. The reference number of the movement found in the back of the case back is not clear. I'll try to retake the picture and have the watch checked using the chronoscope.

Brought it to the service center and was told the reference number is 14701. It is running excellent time.

Dial looks refinished to me. What is the serial # of the movement, please?

Serial number of the movement is 194xxxxx.

Hope this helps! Thanks!

That is correct with the font, but no minute markers is a probem.

Thanks for your inputs! Same comment with the Omega people on the fonts and the gold capped when I brought the watch to check the reference number but they didn't say anything on the no minute marker. At any rate, it doesn't bother me anymore. Thanks again!

Once again, thank you very much for all the inputs received from this forum.

I wish to conclude this thread by sharing the other two vintage Omega pieces that my late parent bequeathed. Watches have no cross hair but have minute markers which piqued my interest on the other watch that eventually led me to begin this thread.

These other watches are the Omega Seamaster Calendar Cal 503 in cream dial and an Omega Seamaster Cal 565 in silver dial. Pictures in wrist shot are posted below. Both watches are still functioning after 61 years and 49 years respectively. I am awed at the simple collection of my parent, something that I will pass on to the next generation. Again, many thanks!
