Congratulations, OP. These watches are extremely cool. While Omega and Breitling are the two most valuable makers of these RCAF chronographs, these aren't the easiest watches to sell in my experience. I replied to one of your threads over on MWR, too. Darren Crabb's book is highly recommended.

Congratulations again,

Myron
Would would a realistic price range for these to go ??

Whatever someone will pay you for it. 馃榾

Honestly, I don't know what the market for these is anymore. But here's the thing -- this watch was produced to a spec by several makers. Breitling and Omega are the most well-known, and because of the brand cache they both command, sellers often over-ask (over-assume?) the values of these two flavors of RCAF. Also, your watch has an obviously incorrect handset on it, so any serious collector looking for originality will move on.

I've seen Bretiling RCAF's sit for years at $5K. Were I in your position, I'd do some internet research, document what you know is and isn't right about the watch, price it reasonably, and then accept my best offer. But that's just me.

Good luck!

Myron

It is bonkers that someone would have thrown this away when just a quick type of "omega watch" into eBay would have given evidence of at least some value. Their loss, I guess. What a find!

Makes you wonder. Well known brand like Omega and they throw it out?
