Not any more : I know for having spoken to sellers on ch24 who did sell their Rm36, they now really sell for 6k euros (I agree on unrealistic 10k that will not sell as I predicted on the "sales or literature" thread 😀)
There are always one or two that sell higher, especially in almost unworn condition, with all-original paperwork, stuff like that. 6kEUR is around 6.5kUSD, which is ~50% to even 100% higher than what I'm seeing here in the states currently. The trilogy railmaster does seem to command close to those prices.

I do agree this watch is likely to maintain and/or grow some value. It's the absolute perfect Explorer killer; the sharktooth markers and inset quarter numerals are quintessentially omega and very stylish, and the overall design lends itself well to what the watch communities seem to think a "GADA" watch should look like.

Latest observations: one 25045200 sold 2 days ago for 5700usd on a forum, while the ones on ch24 are going down a bit (they are not selling for 7k as many were asking, but rather under 6k)

Pleasantly surprised with the price on these - I thought they would be sub-£3k ish. I should probably take better care of my newer gen Railmaster 😂.

Sub £3 or 3,75€? that was 3 years ago!! 😀 You should always take care ;-) because the state of your watch will be a key factor when you sell it 🙂

Yes, you're correct, although hopefully I'll never have to sell my Railmaster - my favourite watch.
